Review: Back To You by Annie Brewer

GOD! What a beautiful cover! I love it. A lot.

*Slight Spoilers*

4 stars. I would give it another full star if it weren't for Abby...*shakes finger at the girl*

I just wanted to cut her tongue from her mouth. She had severe word vomit. I don't think I can think of one moment where she said something right from the beginning to the almost end of the book. She's one of those people that complain and mopes about everything that happens to them but they make it all happen and bring it on themselves. I can't stand that. Thankfully, by the end of the book, I could tolerate her and she redeemed herself. Maybe she learned her lesson? Her sister Sarah is way more mature than she is. I felt like Sarah, Brooke, her mom, and her dad were all picking up her marbles throughout the whole book and depositing them back into her head. She started to make sense, she was maturing. I was thanking Annie. Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving Abby from my wrath. I was about to pounce on her with my vicious ninja skills. Turns out I loved her in the end.

AND WHAT A SHOCK! The one character I thought I was going to have a problem with is the one I favor the most. WHAT THE HELL?!?! But really, Sarah is smart and funny and a great sister to Abby. It was a change that shocked the hell out of me. They go from at the others throat to hugging and sharing each others secrets. What? O_O

Things were resolved a little too easily. If Brooke was my friend, I would be pissed that she did that to me and then was avoiding me like I did something. HELL NO! They didn't know of Abby's infidelities yet. I would be like...if you were really my friend...etc. But Abby made mistakes so it's not like she had room to complain or judge. Which, I guess is the point?

The best parts...were with Lucas. Those hot scenes. I wish for more of those. :) But I could just be a perv. ha ha. But the BEST BEST BEST part? THAT ENDING AND EPILOGUE! I swear, I was almost in tears. I LOVE happy endings and that one just hit the right spot in my heart. I loved it.
