What A Boy Wants by Nyrae DawnMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
What a boy wants? What about what a girl wants? I can tell you this much...Sebastian isn't it. The book? I liked it but I'm surprised at how conflicted I am feeling over the story and the main character, Sebastian. At first, dipping into Sebastian's story I was like, "Wow. Your typical teenage boy." And he is...but probably ten times more conceited than any boy I've ever met (not in a good way). He's completely full of himself. I mean, so is Daemon Black (alien hottie from Obsidian), but at least he's warranted. (IMO) (He has his sexy alien mojo ;D) I just couldn't see what was so great about Sebastian. Why did all the girls like him? What makes him so hot? I have no clue. The boy is so self-absorbed. He doesn't take the time to find out what is going on in his friends live because he's too busy trying to hook up with girls. Then all the monkey business with Aspen. He went about everything THE WRONG WAY. He just couldn't be real, he had to be manipulative? I was sick of him before he made things right.
Besides my irritation with Sebastian, I enjoyed What A Boy Wants besides the predictability. I hope that I will like What A Boy Needs better.
